I needed a way to put my brand new phone on my tripod securely, without risking to scratch it.

Using this you can still access the charging port and the button(s) on one side of the phone. You get full screen touchability but you can't put your tripod upside down (obviously).

There is no thread in the screw mount, but forcing a 1/4" screw in the hole is fine and very secure as long as it's deep enough inside the hole.

Included is the OpenSCAD source file and the resulting STL file.

Can be adapted for a S9 if you change the phone measurements in the source file.

How I Designed This ===================

I started by looking up the official measurement of the phone, then got my caliper for the rest (button size and position. There is a generous hole for an USB-C connector.
