I needed a way to mount my X52 flight controls to my gaming chair. This may not work for you. I used 1" aluminum pipe from Home Depot. Screws for the project are M5x20 with M5 nuts. Use electrical tape or some other rubber-type material in between the mount and the chair to minimize movement. Print two of each and buy 2 mounts and a few feet of square aluminum stock, this depends on your specific application, and you will be good to go. :)
The thing the controllers sit on is just a monitor mount with velcro. They can be ordered from Amazon. This should work https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Universal-Bracket-Removable-MOUNT-POLE01/dp/B07N6MZHT5/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=pipe+monitor+mount&qid=1576112929&sr=8-3
The way I did the thumb screw handles is not all that great, or perhaps I just need to use longer bolts and double nut them so they don't get loose.

Notes:
This is what I did for settings. As this is a mechanical part you can do what you want. With this design the fitting of the pipe on one axis it a bit tight.
