The WatchGuard Firebox series of firewall appliances make great pfSense boxes, and one of the more popular "upgrades" for them is to rip out the frightening open frame power supply they ship with and replace it with a PicoPSU DC-DC unit.
I designed this blanking plate to fit into the chassis opening that the IEC mains socket is removed from when stripping out the default PSU, allowing the DC socket for the PicoPSU to be cleanly and simply mounted. If you chop the existing mains switch leads, you can use that with the PicoPSU unit and have power supply switching on the unit.
NOTE: I have only tested this blanking plate against the two Firebox units I have; an X550e and an X5500e. I suspect it will work with all X-Peak-e/X-core-e range units without any problem (since they share chassis design), and possibly with other units in the Firebox range. Also, I've not personally 3D printed this design, as I don't yet own a 3D printer. I used a London, UK 3D printing service (3D Print UK), who did a great job at a reasonable cost with good turn-around time.
