Some Globes (Earth + Vesta)

These are some globes I designed as desk toys.

They are the Earth, and the asteroid Vesta, respectively.

Neither are to scale, and the surface detail is not to scale on either model.

I printed mine at 6x size, although different scales would probably be fun.

Post-Printing

The joiner piece can be used to align the two halves of the globe.

The pivot/base is printed in three pieces, to make printing it easily.

I recommend assembling the globe first, then inserting each half of the pivot separately, before glueing the two pivot halves together.
