Lego compatible dragon.
1) The source mesh was not printable due to open parts. I repaired with Autodesk Netfab
2) To make it playable , I fixed the 2 wings to the body with a reinforcing part, and I assembled the tail as a movable part. The tail is mirrored of the original tail.
3) The body is made stronger to can slide the 2 arms in place.
4) all made with fusion360.
5) Tricks :

  • the boby and the head are placed, during about 20 seconds, in water at 90°C to be easily assembled together. Of course assembling is made out of the hot water.
  • Check your slicer to have the right size of the 4 lego studs. depends of your filament, and your printer . when i download a part from someone else, i always crop the part with the studs to ensure they fit Lego original parts and minifigs. After that i print the entire part.
