This is a wire spool holder for small rolls of hookup wire I designed for the French Cleat system on my workbench. My cleats are cut on 45° angles and are 19mm x 19mm.
I realize French cleat designs and peoples' needs means this is much more useful if it can be easily customized so I've included the FreeCAD design file in the file archive to make design modifications easier. This design was done in FreeCAD 0.18

Notes:
For best results, print the rod holder bracket with a skirt and supports (to bed only). The supports are needed for the rounded ends near the rod insertion holes, and the skirt is needed to keep the end of the dove tail that sits on the build plate from collapsing forward and ruining the print. I printed with a 8mm skirt and it worked fine.
The rod is best printed upright with the ball end at the top. A skirt is probably advisable since the area on the bed is relatively small and it's a tall item. The back plate is best printed on one edge. No supports or skirts should be needed.
