Description
PDFAfter loosing many many picks, or simply not having one whenever needed, I decicded to create a pick holder that I would always have with me: on the instrument itself :)
This thing is an electronic compartment cover plate for my Cort B4 bass, with an integrated pick holder built-in.
This is inspired by a pick holder by Dunlop I bought several years ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s9VZqsx3-CQ
It contains up to 4 to 5 picks.
The picks are stored in a pocket, and pushed up toward the access hole by springs, so that you can store a varying number of picks.
Post-Printing
- Cover the back of the plate with aluminium tape
- Press-fit three 5x15mm compression springs under the pusher tab
- Assemble the cover plate, pusher with springs and pocket (a small marking indicates the top orientation for each component) Glue the pocket to the cover plate Cover the pocket with aluminium tape
- Screw the cover plate to your instrument
