My wife and I received a beautiful crystal glass photo frame for our wedding that had a completely inadequate cardboard stand that couldn't hold the weight of the heavy glass. It got tucked away and I always wanted to get around to fixing it. 10 years later I got a 3D printer. I thought finally the day has come where I can fix it. Only I didn't like any of the solutions currently on thingiverse. Sadly I lacked the skills to create something of my own. That's finally changed and now with Fusion 360 I was able to create a simple minimalist frame stand that can hold up the heavy glass and doesn't detract from the pretty clear crystal. I gave it to my wife for christmas this year with one of our wedding photos and she loved it.
If you happen to have an 8x10 picture frame that needs a stand or some other similar sized plaque and need a stand, hopefully you'll find this useful. I've also included the Fusion 360 files to make it easy to modify to suit your needs.

Filament: Spool3D.ca carbon fiber PETG black
Notes:
I printed with some carbon fiber PETG because it has a nice matte black finish and should be strong and stiff enough to resist some weight.
