Notes:

This is a lens hood with 49mm threads. I am using it for a Vivitar 28mm f2.8 wide angle on a Pentax K1000. Print the Lens Hood with the Threads up, so there is no distortion if you use a brim for stabilization. I used a Brim. I printed it in .16 but it will also work at .20 I used eSun PETG at 230-240C and a 70C bed temp. This eSun PETG will print good for me at low as 229C on an Creality Ender 3 Pro. I printed it at a speed of 30, and retraction of 4.0 and 45. This is a 20% infill.
If you do design your own lens threads, use 4 to 5 threads at 0.75 pitch and a thread angle of 0.60

If you are printing it and it gets “stringy”, reduce the temperature of the nozzle.

Good Luck :)
