My wife's 2010 Toyota Tacoma center console latch broke (the little pieces that hold it in snapped off), so I took the part, some calipers, and sat down at my computer to CAD up a new one! Took a few iterations, but the resultant part works perfectly. Also was a good opportunity to learn Fusion 360!
Originally printed in PLA because my Prusa grey matched the interior better, but quickly found out that PLA inside a vehicle in the summer will last about 30 min before deforming considerably. Reprinted in PETG and it's been working fine, although ABS might be even better.
Original piece has a curve to the surface, but I omitted it entirely for ease of design and it works fine.
Designed in Fusion 360. If anyone wants the .f3d file I can provide it.
