Gridfinity Stationary Holder

I like to keep some pens and notebooks next to my 3D printer. So, I designed this 3x1 component for the Gridfinity system to do just that. And it holds a few rulers too. It can hold 5 pens, up to 3 pocket notebooks (like Field Notes or any other 3.5” x 5.5” pocket notebook), and 3 rulers. 

You could alternately put some thin tools in instead of pens. I keep a hobby knife in mine. 

If you are storing long rulers you might want to consider securing it to the base with magnets or screws. 

You will be able to print this with no supports.
