build test log at > http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2078025&highlight=3d+print+tri+copter
This version includes the following features
1.The connectors have a 2 mm hole thru the length so if you glue this together and want to change/ replace something its easy to drill out the connector piece.
2.I have included a slide in battery tray ( glueing this in adds frame stability )
3 The rear boom and yaw mech are separate pieces so >
a/ its easy to choose a boom length to suit your needs ( 5 options ) without having to print the whole thing including yaw mech.
b/ I have a few ideas for yaw mech layout . This is Type 1 ( all relevant file denoted by " Y Type 1" and when more are finished you only need to swap out the parts not re print the whole boom.
4/ The main body is now in 2 parts for shorter more manageable print times
Take a look at the layout PDF for dimensions and pick the rear boom length you require.

Update 25th Jan>
I had some trouble with the yaw pivot mechanism so have now replaced the 2 rear main part files. The new file names end in R1 and a picture is included in the gallery.
The R1 design now suits the Tower pro MG servo as well so i've removed those files
Update 23rd Jan>
Added some additional lenght of rear boom .. 210 mm, 220 mm & 230mm still printable on a 200 x 200mm heated bed but the 230 needs to be aligned accurately !!!
Update 19th Jan >
Had a request for some plain rear yaw frame parts so people can attache their own swivel system and servo mount.
2 part files uploaded - both file names end in "PLAIN"
Update 18th Jan >
Printed all the parts and its looking not bad. Now waiting for some parts i ordered so i can try it out
While assembling the yaw mech and to test i used a Tower Pro MG90S and noticed that it protrudes 2.5 mm more than the servo i based the design on ( and the one ive ordered) so i have uploaded 2 replacement files that allow the servo to fit properly, The file names end in MG90S
