Anet A8 filament set – 75mm diameter spool adapter + 90 degree spool holder bracket + filament guide

Anet A8 filament set

The aim of this set is to allow for a stable filament spool attachment on top of the Anet A8 frame with the following features:

• Low torque on frame due to 90 degrees bracket even when using 3kg spools
• Multi/large size spools capable max. width 140mm (without spool adapter), max diameter 240mm, max inner diameter 75mm
• Short 95mm version of the popular https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2070272 which fits into the standard Anet A8 spool holder
• Low weight filament guide with diagonal attachment

The set is containing:

• The 90 degree bracket “Anet_A8 Spool Holder Bracket multisize.stl”
• The 75mm diameter spool adapter “bolt.stl” (remake of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2070272)
• The 75mm diameter spool adapter nut “nut.stl” (remake of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2070272)
• The 75mm diameter spool adapter short (95mm length for standard 1kg spools, also fits into the standard spool holder delivered with Anet A8) “bolt_short_95mm.stl” (remake of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2070272)
• The 95mm length remake of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2070272 “spulenhalter_links_MK2_short95mm.stl”
• Multi Filament guides mounting on the horizontal frame (I go with the the upper out center and the lower longslot)
• Low weight filament guide with diagonal attachment (might interfere with large diameter extruder buttons, so better use the one mentioned below) “Anet_A8 Filament Guide Extruder lowweight.stl”

Required for assembly:

• M3x25 screw 2 pcs. to assemble 90 degree bracket
• M8x180-200 tread rod for 75mm diameter spool Adapter or use of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2070272
• Ball bearing 608ZZ 2 pcs. 8mm (core) 22mm (outer diameter) 7mm (width) for spool adapter bolt and nut

The set is designed to be complemented by:

• Holder arm AnetA8_Holder_rev0.stl from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1624641
• Extruder button https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2427227

I just recently modified one of my Anet A8 for bowden and used a stepper motor mount attached to the back of the display with vertical filament routing (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2811282) for this assembly the filament must be guided at the back of the display as well, so I added the Anet_A8 Spool Holder Bracket 90degr_Bowdenextender.stl which allows to move the spool further to the back.

I also included the FreeCAD files if someone wants to edit the designs.
