7mm Platform clip

Someone in the comments of the original Platform Clip (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2838773) wanted a version that fit a 7mm bed+glass. I am in the same boat, so I used Tinkercad to remix the originals a little.

The actual space between the gap is 6.45mm. Which, with the springy tension of the print, makes a nice clip on a 7mm bed.

I have included the 4 versions:

• the small version
• the large version
• the large version with a low profile top (as low profile as the small version)
• and large version with ultra low profile top (1.45mm)

If you are using a heated bed, you really should print this with a heat resistant material. My own PLA clips after just a few hours of usage with the bed at 65C is showing warping so the clip tension is nullified.

I print this at 102% to account for shrinkage. But maybe your printer won't need it?

Printing with my original Craftbot, slicing using Craftware 1.14, I did have to use shell offset at -0.07mm. Otherwise the swivel won't break free. With the offset, if you put one thumb into the part the bed would go in, and use the other thumb to press down, you can break it free.

Personally I like the low profile large version. It feels more solid and holds the bed nicely.
