String / twine / cord tensioner with slots for easy use

I needed some adjustable tensioners to use on my tablet loom so I designed these. They work well enough, although they would not be as strong as tensioners with just holes. These might be able to scale up to use with rope. As presented, the holes are c. 2.5 mm in diameter (designed size 3mm) I find the slots make it easier to get the string into the tensioner as opposed to threading tiny holes.
