This is a remix of dalpek's Bat Signal to incorporate a small LED push button light in the end. I utilized the inner battery chamber of the motorcycle LED keychain flashlight to create the electronics section and swapped out the bat signal itself with another one that was a little bigger and better proportioned.
UPDATE 6/5/2016: Added generic signal sketchup file to allow people to create their own base. Modify the group that is the disk inside the base and then use the STL plugin to export both groups to a single stl. Clean with NetFabb after export to finish cleaning it up prior to slicing.

Assemble Flashlight
- Put 5mm LED leads through holes in battery holder with the longer positive lead toward the bottom of the chamber.
Use a small flat head screw driver to force it into slot that leads to the bottom of the chamber.
Clip positive lead just short of hole on bottom of chamber, and negative lead just short of the other end of the chamber.
Put in CR2032 battery positive side down in between the two LED leads.
Add battery ring between battery and negative lead to prevent unwanted activation of LED.
Align slot in battery button with the negative LED lead and snap into place.
Assemble Bat Signal
- Clean up hole for protruding LED to slide into the main unit.
Test fit. The flashlight will be very snug and may require a little sanding in order to fit into slot.
Once assembly is possible, add a little super glue to slotted area of base unit and slide in LED flashlight and let dry.
Battery Replacement
- Use a paper clip to push through small hole on bottom of flashlight to pop the battery button out of it's place.
