Galaxy S5 Qi Charging Car Dock

Here's my remix for mounting my Samsung Galaxy S5 with OEM Qi battery cover in my truck's cd slot to allow for Qi wireless charging and be easily visible. I've also included the vent mount clips that could also be used, but haven't tested those.

I've also included a CD mount only variant that uses the original slotted connector, currently untested.

I'll upload a photo of the completed print, but it's been working great so far. The only changes that I think I will do is modify the area where the USB connects to the top to allow the cable to be easily routed out of the way instead of hanging into the middle of my radio display and move the mount holes lower in the base to avoid the interference with the top of my radio display.

Updates:

• 11/28/2015: Uploaded new slotted versions. This new version puts the USB cable out either side of the base unit, raised up a bit on the mount piece, lowered side fins exposing headphone jack for those that don't use bluetooth like me. Print with support. An added bonus to the USB slots on each side is now the LED on the powerbot shines through.

I imported the originals into SketchUp and modified to allow all the pieces to integrate with each other.
