I print a lot of PETG. I don't have an enclosure and a 5015 blower fan can easily cause parts to warp. The original fan caused parts to warp on the right side of my prints as the majority of the cool air blows there.

I made a fan duct that centers on the nozzle from two sides. I requires the older version of the carriage (which I have also uploaded to avoid confusion). It also requires a pancake stepper as it moves the fan inwards.

Printer:

Adimlab Gantry

Rafts:

No

Supports:

Yes

Resolution:

0.2

Infill:

Filament:

Notes:

The majority of walls are 0.8mm so you'll probably want to use a 0.4mm or 0.8mm nozzle. I printed it by rotating 90 degrees. Supports may be a bit small, so brim and wall the supports.

How I Designed This ===================

I edited a fan from: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1997760

I used these dimensions in the cf spreadsheet:

h_height: 23

h_diameter: 24

arm_width: 16

arm_thickness: 4.6

wall_thickness: 0.8

box_width: 28

throat_offset_from_left: 3.4

throat_width: 17.2

throat_length: 12.5

throat_height: 6.2

I then hacked away at it in Tinkercad since I am bad at actual CAD software: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/4Dvc2FIYWAN-adimlab5015duct

The parts should ungroup into logical pieces to help with your own changes.
