Dryer Vent Vacuum Adapter

This adapter is to assist in cleaning your clothes dryer vent ducting. It is intended to be used in conjunction with a flexible rod and brush vent cleaning kit available at hardware/home improvement stores or various online sources. (Search for Gardus LintEater as an example.) These Kits come in two variations: One which has the basic duct brush with varying numbers of rod segments, and one that costs pretty much twice as much with a few extra accessories, one of which includes an adapter similar to this one I've designed that allows you to attach a vacuum cleaner or Shop Vac to the end of the vent duct to catch the dislodged lint accumulation. (See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ecl5ejXvqm8 for a demonstration.) I've included files for two different vacuum hose sizes: 30mm/1.2" and 58mm/2.3". The hole for the brush rod can be capped with the small cap when inserting the cleaning brush from the opposite end of the ductwork.
