In 1993 Märklin released a gauge 1 / 1:32 model of a DB (German railways) maintenance train (Rottenkraftwagen.) Model# 5739 (digital) and 5740 (analog) were actually designed and produced by Hübner.
They are heavy, solid models, mostly made of die-cast metal, fitted with a strong Faulhaber motor driving both axles by a central cardan-drive.
Even the crane, couplings and drawbar are executed in metal.
Only the top section of the cabin, the planks, some details in the running gear and the lamps are made of plastic.
The lamps are mounted in slots at the side of the engine and carts. They are probably missing or broken by now.
It is also likely the metal drawbar is missing or damaged.
I've designed replacements for the lamps (right and left) and the drawbar.
Paint the reflector silver and glue on a clear or red piece of transparant plastic as an imitation of the lenses.
The pictures shows my interpretation of the lamps and the drawbar.
