This is a hanging, antique style sconce or lantern designed to hang from a hook, and which will hold a 1.5" dia. LED votive flameless candle. It is designed to be used as a prop (candle wall sconces on a river boat -- see photos of actual float). My original design is intended to be laser cut in 1/8" wood, but I decided to modify the design to make it 3-D printable. I have not had time to actually 3D print it, so I don't know how well the pieces will fit together. It is designed to be assembled with glue, and with a snap fit for the hanging ring. Print two fronts/back pieces (identical), two side pieces, and one each of the other parts (base, Support Beam, Roof & Hanging Ring). There is no need to print the fake candle; I just threw that in for fun (it isn't very realistic).
As a side note, the 'Maid of Iowa' riverboat float won the People's Choice Awards in both Children's and Adults' categories in the 2021 Pioneer Day Parade -- the largest parade in the State of Utah and the third largest parade in the U.S.A. After the parade, these lanterns/sconces were painted white and used in a wedding reception. :)
