Extended Laptop Stand with Connector

This is a remix of “Laptop Stand” by finke. 

I really liked the original model, but added 15" computer support and some nice to haves like a stand version with no lip so you can close the computer and an optional connector for stabilization.

The connector length and tolerances can be customized in the OpenSCAD file. The connector has two overhangs on each end to hold the stands, make sure they are pointed down and the overhangs will wrap around the ends and hold them tightly. 
 

To get the honeycomb effect on the stand I printed it with 0 top and 0 bottom layers with a 15% honeycomb infill and 100% infill anchor length. Since the connector is printed horizontally I manually added the honeycomb effect to the model so you don't need any special settings for it.

If you have a 13" or less laptop you can use the original stand, otherwise I would recommend the extended version.

I printed the ones in the photo with 4 perimeters  and using orange PETG, but I'm sure other filaments would work fine too.

Update 1: I updated the extended stands to not tip back on very top heavy laptops, enjoy!

Update 2: Added TPU feet model to prevent sliding on the desk, I just super glued them on after printing (see the last image).
