Takes any standard 120mm fan with the printed stand to allow for airflow up through the top. I used a Noctua NF-F12 industrialPPC with a Low-Noise Adaptor because the humidity can be kept down with very little air flow, at least for my use case.
The tube is filled with 3mm or larger silica gel beads with the lid enclosing them to prevent spills.
The hole in the middle of the tube is to prevent the static pressure from being high enough to stagnate the air flow from the fan.
I use a cheap dehydrator to dry the silica gel beads a couple times a year…and for filament drying the rest of the year!
