This is a dual damper mount for the X axis on the CR-10/CR-10s.
This can be used to mount a 2nd damper on the rear of the X axis stepper motor in order to assist with minimization of any deflection caused when tightening the belt. The design is based around a standard Nema17 anti-vibration damper which is approx 6mm thick.
It is possible to use the existing M5 hardware to mount it to the gantry plates. You will then need an additional 2 x M3x6mm socket head screws to mount the rear damper to this plate as well as 2 x M3x35mm button head screws to mount the damper to the rear of the stepper motor.
04/04/2018 - new version added
A new version has been added which has a 23mm ID cutout as some dampers may have a raised center section. Please note that I do not have one of those dampers to test with and rely on measurements obtained from internet resources (aka Google). You will probably need supports at the center of the circular cutout to print this version.

Notes:
Due to the cut out in the mounting bracket for the stepper motor cable/connector you will need to use supports for this area. You might also need supports in the recessed areas for the hex nuts. A picture has been included that shows the support locations and how to orient the model on the build platform.
