hello friends I have a quick question can this work with a ender 3 neo? (edited)
Worked great! had a lot of problems using the bearing cutting tool, so I used a different, external one that that's working good! My current problem is that I can't find a way to remove the residue from the bottles

Does it only work with smooth bottles?
It works really well but accidentally switched the motor spin and broke some parts including the hotend but 10/10. Ive been getting clean extrusions and getting clean prints

can this also with a ender 3 v2?
@ThijsBom_4507996 yes, you just need to print the ender 3 v2 remixes. I'm in the process of making one with a ender 3 v2
i have a question i only want to print the needed things i don't have many filament so wich are needed to built this can you make a list or specific map so i can download that?
Was a great use of an old printer. So glad it didn't end up in e-waste. Still working to perfect cutting the bottles, but works right now.

Excellent! My Ender 3 finally broke, I bought a K1C to replace it, and this was a great way to bring the old printer back to life. Your attached videos and instructions were very thorough, and everything fit together with plenty of tolerance. I hope you don't mind, I remixed the big gear to use less filament and be quicker to print. I used PLA for most of the parts, PETG for the gears, and CFPETG (lots of extra layers) for the hotend mounting plate.
The only issue I ran into was that the shaft for the main gear was too short. Its entirely possible that I assembled it wrong. But it was also super easy to reprint the shaft and the spacer to fit without an issue.
I also remixed the left and middle case sections to accept a drawer, to store random pieces and cutter attachments, keep my station nice and tidy.

@harrisonpatm did you print al this stuf? or a little bit
of the files because i dont have very much filament?
@ThijsBom_4507996 I printed all of the files
I built it out of a old ender 3, all printed parts are OVERTURE PETG basic in black.
I made custom firmware for it Aswell, fixes stepper direction and adds a custom boot screen. printed on A1 and A1 MINI, its making undersized fillament slightly right now, but I need to fix the nozzle, I was using a duller bit
I have the HOT warning because I plan to take this to robotic events and need to have a warning so nobody touches it.
my weight is full of 1 1/4 deck screws, because i have to many
here is my firmware. @JRT3D

This was quite the undertaking, but I'm glad I got it working. I love that my old printer has a new life and am having fun turning bottles into filament. It looks like a stick of vegan butter 🧈hehe

@JasonGutt_3834955 What filament is that? (edited)
