Here's a slightly oversized (aka "Chonky") Solder Spool Holder. It's large and heavy (depending on infill) so it doesn't slide around on my workbench too much. (A few rubber feet on the bottom help keep it in place.)
The main part can be printed without support but the rod should be printed standing upright with support.
Note: The V2 version is a slight update based on feedback from Ron Freeto. This version should make the solder spool out of the holder a little easier. (The V2 SCAD file also combines the holder and rod into a single file. Export each piece as needed. There is no change to the rod for V2.)
I use it with this roll of solder (which is 55mm in diameter and 28mm wide) and it fits well. the OpenSCAD files are included if you need to edit anything.
