This is a simple cable holder with a slot for a magnet. It's very easy to attach the holder to the metal frame of your desk for example. A magnet from an old hard drive is perfect for this purpose. I stuck a small piece of non slip foam to the side so it stays in place even better.
The magnetic mount has the advantage that you don't need to use screws or glue, which makes it easy to move it around. Also if a cable gets caught behind something, you'll move the holder instead of damaging the cable or whatever it's plugged into. That makes it perfect for a height adjustable desk.
The piece can be printed without any support, with the bottom on the printbed. Depending on your choice of filament or bed adhesion, you may need to use a skirt.
