The kids wanted to set up a pulley system across the garden, but the pulleys we bought from the shop were awful, and didn't work at all.

I had some bearings in the drawer, so got printing. The pulleys are currently holding up a 40m washing line strung across the garden, and are ratcheted tight between trees, so they can take a good amount of strain on them.

The pulleys each need two 608 bearings, two washers, and an M8 nut and bolt. As you can see from the picture, I didn't bother cutting my M8 down, but it makes no difference.

Print time for a pair of pulleys is about 4 hours in total on my Prusa i3.

Oh, and I've given both the STL and Sketchup files in case you want to make any changes.

EDIT

The Skethcup file for the outer part of the pulley, when exported to an STL gives erratic results when printed. I used the Netfabb online service to fix it. It printed fine afterwards. Sketchup issues take so long to fix, it's normally quicker to do it this way.
