This is a working lift for 1:64 diecast cars/toys. There is a gear at the back that when turned lift the model into the air.

In addition to the printed parts, you will need 2M6 bolts (50mm long screw thread) and 2 M6 nuts

You will need to print:

2*small gears

2* large gear

2*car lift post

1* car lifter

1*car lift base

1* car life base bottom

1* car lift slope with support

All designed to be printed without support, but you may have to rotate the items to enable this. For info, the car lift slope will need to be rotated by 10.1 degrees to allow it to be printed flat.

To assemble:

  • Depending on print quality, you may want to sand the tops and bottom of the gears flat.
  • Put the small gears onto the M6 bolts. Ensure the heads fit into the gears flat
  • Put the bolts through the base
  • Place a nut onto each bolt and screw them down to the base
  • Place the two big gears into the base, ensure they rotate freely
  • Put the base bottom on, and glue into place, ensure not to glue the gears!
  • Place over the screw threads the car lifter
  • Put the car lift posts over the bolts. Glue to the base, ensuring not to get glue into the holes at the bottom. This may glue the gears into place, stopping them from moving.
  • Break off the supports on the slope.
  • locate the slope onto the base, and glue into place.

That's it!

The lifter could possibly be made smaller with M4 bolts, but I didn't have these in the toolbox, so made it for the M6's I had.
