Polyhedral Mobile Support

General

Depending on its orientation on the desktop, the polyhedral offers a differently angled face to place a mobile device on. The numbers on the main face correspond to the angles. The number “1” indicates the steepest possible angle, if “5” appears upright, the face is set to the most shallow angle.

Attention!

Due to the minimalist design, the surface must be very high friction to work as intended. This can be accomplished by:

• Printing the main body directly using a suitable material like a soft blend of TPU
• Printing the molds, casting using a suitable material like silicone
• Printing the molds, casting using an arbitrary material like concrete and adding the cap made of a suitable material like a soft blend of TPU
• Printing the molds, casting using an arbitrary material like concrete and coating the result using a suitable high friction material like silikone

Casting

There is no specific positioning/locking mechanism in the molds. Due to the shape of the contact surface, the molds cannot be put together incorrectly. Just connect them with a few strips of duct tape and you are ready to go. The large hole is intended for filling the mold, the smaller hole is placed at the very highest point to let the air escape.

If desired, the numers are included to be inlayed into the polyhedral.
