Small Foldable Phone Stand

This is a Foldable Phone Stand i designed. It also works with up to 13mm (0.51in) thick Phone Cases. This stand allows for an awesome horizontal and vertical viewing angle. Due to its design its very small and nearly invisible when in use, which makes it perfect for watching videos on the go.

This Stand was designed for maximum Portability without sacrificing Durability. And with me using this Stand for over a year now, i think it succeeded in both regards.

Settings:

0.2mm Layer height

5 Perimeters

100% Infill

Supports: No

Brim: Not needed, but can help due to its small surface area on the Printbed

There are 2 Models available for Download. The only difference in those two is the tolerance of the Hinge. The normal Model has a tolerance of 0.2mm and the other one has a tolerance of 0.3mm. Most machines should be able to print the 0.2mm version though. If your printer however is not capable of printing either of them feel free to ask me for a higher tolerance version or try adjusting the XY compensation in the Slicer. Also, if you need any change in the model feel free to leave a comment and i will see what i can do.

Both PLA and PETG were tested and work perfectly.

If the Hinge is stuck but you can see through the walls of the Hinge, this is very likely just the molten plastic from the top hinge layers falling and slightly attaching itself onto the left arm of the Stand. This is normal though. To fix it just press both arms together near the hinge and it should come loose.
