Cuttlephone is a phone case for smart phones. It currently supports phone case mode, Razer Junglecat rails, and Switch Joy-con rails. The case is made with OpenSCAD so it can be customized for new phones. This is a work-in-progress and I'd like feedback.
Supported phones models:
Phone case features:
The rails have manual support that can be removed with an craft knife. Sometimes the rails require filing (tuning "pressure advance" will help). Joy-con rails make the case especially thick and difficult to remove.
Print instructions:
For universal adapters: Import the model into your slicer. Split the model and separate the 2 halves. Enable supports on the build plate. Don’t support the inside of the sliding slot. The Joy-Con rails have manual supports. Move them along with the clamp.
For a soft phone case: download the “soft” model and print using TPU. I use Overture High-speed TPU.
For a hard phone case download the “hard” model and print using PLA+, PETG, or ABS. Use a screen protector because the button cutouts are an exposed spot.
