This is an upgrade to existing spool holder on your Creality Ender 3. It uses 2 skate ball bearings which allows the holder hub to rotate freely.

Besides 3d printed parts you will need:

  1. 2x 608 size ball bearings (d=8mm, D=22mm, h=7mm)
  2. 2x M5x25mm or longer bolts with no more than 110mm combined length (For example, you can use one M5x25 and one M5x80 or two M5x50 but NOT two M5x80)
Alternatively, you can use one M5 120mm threaded rod and two M5 nuts
  3. Two M5 washers.

You will need to print 1x axis, 1x axis base and 2x nuts. Bearings are press fitted into each of two printed nuts. Axis base uses a plastic nut from your existing holder. Second nut is not used.

Should be also compatible with Ender 3 v2 and Ender 3 Pro.
