Case for a 7" touchscreen.
The one I bought is from Amazon.ca: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B075QCXLPF and seems similar to this one: https://wiki.52pi.com/index.php?title=EP-0087 but without the camera.
The case allows full access to all of the USB and HDMI ports. I modeled it in Fusion360 using an STL mesh file from the 52pi wiki. That mesh file does have the camera modeled, but I don't have it, so there is no provision for it in my model.
The TFT screen slides into the case, and the lid is fastened with a single 3mm screw, up to 10mm length. There is a provision for a mount, 4 screw holes in the back in a 25mm square configuration. This matches some arm mounts that I have for other projects, and is not included in the model files.
I bought this bare screen, thinking that there should be a large number of models available to cases, and was disappointed that there seemed to be none. Well, now at least there is one.
The model files are in the orientation that I created them, so you should print the lid flat side down.
I printed these with no supports, no rafts, no brim. I used 0.33333mm layer height. Infill doesn't matter the case is thin enough that it printed solid (2mm wall thickness) with 2 perimeters. What other areas to fill were all small enough to use solid fill patterns.
Thi case does not incorporate the Raspberry Pi as an integrated unit, since the HDMI and USB ports are exposed.
The author hasn't provided the model origin yet.
