There are two models. The first one, ipad holder, uses exposed rubber bands to provide the gripping force. The second one (ipad holder ib) hides the rubber bands inside the printed parts. Both use ¼-20 threaded inserts to attach to a tripod. I pushed the inserts in with a hot soldering iron.
