Bilge Pump Head

A friend had a vintage boat with a manual bilge pump.  The original “Head” was made out of a hard rubber, it had deteriorated beyond repair.  And there were no replacement parts available.  

There is a flare at the top of the brass body so I designed it with a split threaded base.  It was also designed to use a flat gasket at the top of the flange for a seal.  This seal was not needed as leaking was minimal, and it is being used in an inherently wet environment.
