Hello everybody, here is a print I have designed for myself and family for a wearable sign/notice to wear on a lanyard or keys as a visible aid for other people that I'm deaf/hard of hearing along with some hints on how best to communicate verbally.
The print itself is in 2 parts, I have uploaded each side separately and together and assembly was essentially supergluing both parts back-to-back and a bit of tidying/sanding the sides down smooth.
As you can see its a simple but bold and easy to read/understand design based upon the typical Deaf/HoH signage out and about and at 100% scale is very slighty larger than a pokemon card (banana unavailable at the time for scale)
As it unexpectedly blew up on a post I made on r/functionalprint, I have had to speed up plans to upload the .stl for others to use in the hope that it not only helps other people who struggle with verbal communication in public due to hearing loss, but also to raise awareness along with the use of a visual aid with everything people need to know without the anxiety-inducing worries of asking for help each time.
Thankyou for reading/viewing/sharing and please, if I have been able to help, feel free to let me know!!
