Description

This is a device to sit on top of the Rivalburn and shine UV LEDs down the central section, charging glow-in-the-dark Rival rounds as they are fed into the barrel. It works better if you can print the top gate piece in something clearish. All of the components are sourced from Adafruit, so this should be an easy thing to replicate.

I had an Electric Eel when I was little, and I guess the cool factor of firing glowy plasma darts really stuck with me. The open vertical feed column in the middle of the Rivalburn seemed to me like a good opportunity to charge up some glow ammo.

The first version I made covered the entire open area. It kept most of the light contained and worked pretty well as a rail riser and scope mount, but not having access to clear jams made me nervous. I've included that one as well just in case anyone is interested. The v1 files aren't properly oriented for printing, so just tip them up on end.

Notes:

Lid_v5 can be printed on its back (quick and ugly) or on its end (slow and uses a lot of support). Guess which one I did?
