Uses only 1.75mm Filament as hardware, the NanoMag platform started out just as a way to take advantage of the nub at the end of the Nerf NanoFire. It eventually expanded into a magazine system not shown here, this is the shortened version of it that I am providing for free. This takes the NanoFire barrel coupler, the rear rail system, and any front end that were developed for the NanoMag and provides a way to use them without adding the magazine system of the NanoMag.

Only the "Basic" front end is provided. More front end STLs are provided via Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/listing/966073544/nanomag-files-digital-stlssteps

Completed Prints of the NanoMini, with more front-end options, are available via Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/listing/965317552/print-to-order-nanomini-for-nerf

Hardware Required

Didn't you read above? No hardware needed, this is all 3D-printed! Just use wire cutters to cut out the following lengths of 1.75mm filament:(All the part numbers below are prefixed with "a2p" for the filenames, e.g. the coupler has a filename of a2p4.1_....stl)

  • 1x 7mm for Flip Up Sight (7.2c)
  • 3x 16mm for connecting Coupler (4.1) and Rear Rail (5.1a) to Adapter (1.2)
  • 1x 23mm for connecting Front End (7.*) to Adapter (1.2)
  • 2x 24mm for connecting Rear Sight (6) to Rear Rail (5.1a)
  • 3x 32mm for connecting Coupler (4.1) and Front End (7.*) to Adapter (1.2)
  • 1x 56mm for connecting Rear Rail (5.1a) to Rail Clip (5.1b)

Notes:

Please refer to the provided Cura screenshot on proper orientation of the parts. I manually separated each part so you can clearly which side is down for each part.

Suggested Support Overhang Angle of 59 degrees, but of course decide what is best by what your printer can handle.

Cura is overzealous with supports around filament holes, feel free to exclude filament holes unless your printer/filament really needs them.
