I've made a much better version that will secure the bearings better here: Bearing Spool Core

The default roller core this was remixed from, had a flat surface the bearing would sit against, this surface would cover both rotating surfaces which would often lead to the bearings getting locked tight.

So I redesigned it from scratch, as I also wanted to try my hand on some more complex fusion360 modelling.

I've included the STEP file for anyone needing to tweak the tolerances for their printer or just want to remix it easier.

  • 6x Registration-Pin.stl

Post-Printing

Add the 6 registration pins to the end of one of the half-rolls, use superglue to join the two half-rolls together, aligning with the registration pins.
