Tip: I removed the bleeding resistor R12 from the board, as it can get quite hot even without load. Only side effect, is that the output capacitors will take a bit more to discharge.

For the fan, I used a silent Noctua:
and powered it with a small 5V power supply, so it runs more silent, like this one:
