Chaperonins assist the essential process of protein folding. These models depict the bacterial GroEL/GroES chaperonin as depicted in Figure 4-30B from Lehninger Principles of Biochemistry, Fifth Edition. A multi-material capable printer (IDEX or other) is required for the multicolor version. Extensive support was required and was difficult to remove, especially for the multicolor version.
