Simple and handy centering tool for circular objects like cylinders, tins, discs...

simply draw at least 2 lines towards the center as on picture, it's quite self explanatory :-)

Side measures 10cm (3.9in) and the centering guide 15cm (5.9in)

For more precision, the guide has been offset 0.5mm to consider the pencil tip size

Fusion 360 file included so you can change size or personalize it, simply modify user parameters to change dimensions of the side parts or guide (length, width, depth)

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Prusa

Printer:

i3 MK3

Rafts:

Doesn't Matter

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.2 will do fine

Infill:

20% is enough

Filament: any PLA is easiest to print, but you might prefer PETG as it is sturdier and more resistant to heat Any

Notes:

Based on my experience, if you print in PLA, as this material is more prone to deformation when heated, try to use a light color rather than dark; if you leave it in the sun it will otherwise heat up quicker and deform. As mentioned, PETG may be a better choice in case it needs to be more resistant.
