This is a 13 mm to 13.7 mm hose connector / adapter.
I use it with the Gardena Micro-Drip system and connect the 13.7 mm drip hose (underground) with the normal 13 mm laying pipe.
This allows you to interrupt the underground drip hose over longer distances or combine the two systems (eg drip hose for the hedge & a few buckets with laying pipe and drippers) and supply with a pressure reducer.
Simply cut open the drip hose, insert the adapter on the left and right and insert the normal laying tube in between and equip as known. This allows you to easily lay 100m drip hose, interrupt it at any point and water individual buckets.
The adapter sits very tight and is easier to install when the sun has warmed the tubing, but is still not 100% tight, which was not my requirement to a drip tube (drips about as much as 1 drip tube hole).
It is suitable for all manufacturers with 13 / 13.7 mm piping, I use it with the Gardena Micro-Drip system (naming rights with the manufacturer), but there is absolutely no connection or support to the manufacturer. In addition, I could not find a product from the manufacturer that provides this functionality (April 2021) and the 3D design is done 100% by me, but to be fair: this is a technical solution without any higher design or creativity level. Without the adapter, I would have to lay multiple irrigation circuits with multiple pressure reducers, which would be expensive, laborious and a waste of materials. This is my own technical design to repair and improve the mentioned product. I did not copy any manufacturers design nor am I in contact or representing a manufacturer.
Use PETG, 0.2 - 0.25mm layer height, 4+ perimiters, 100% infill, no supports, no brim needed with PETG
