Ball Bearing Spool holder

This model requires a few purchase parts:

• 608-2RS Ball bearings (X4)
• 8MM metallic rods (X2)

The printed parts:

• Spool Holder Body (X2)
• Spool Holder Bearing Covers (X4)
• Spool Holder Bearing Spacers (X8)

The idea behind this print is to reduce drag on the spool allowing for smoother printing. Additionally, the shafts are not attached to the bearing in any way so the assembled spool holder can be adjusted for any width spool. The tapered faces on the bearing covers will allow for self-centering of the spool. I suggest printing the spool holder bodies with the “feet” down and using supports to the bed only for the best print quality.
