I usually don't publish these very specific things I design for myself, but I thought there might be a slight chance someone that can use this will stumble onto it. So here it is.

Carrying case for the Eton Elite Executive (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000NOSCN0?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details)

WARNING! i have heard that there are multiple models called Executive. I can not be sure of anything beyond the measurements i took of my radio (about 168mm by 108mm) check your radio before printing this.

As always, if you print this, please post a make with pictures, it makes me happy.

I designed this to hold my AC adapter, long wire reel antenna, misc other accessories, and more importantly the manual, which fits in the lid.

i used a total of 12 10mm magnets. There are magnets on the top and bottom of the body so you can store the lid under it when its open. I have holes in both parts of the lid so you can stack more magnets for added strength if needed. I bought the cheapest magnets on amazon and a single one in the inner lid was plenty to hold it on for me, but use your judgement.

depending on your printer, you will likely have to sand the edges where the two halves meet. don't sand too much or the radio will no longer fit width wise. mine is tight, so I added an extra millimeter to the model before I uploaded it.

the body has cutouts so you can access the ports and controls on the side without taking the radio out. supports should only be needed on 90 degree angles for the 2 cutouts.

Notes:

I used Cyanoacrylate (super glue) to glue it together, then sanded the seams with 120, 220, 400, 800, 1500 grit sandpapers, the polished with rubbing compound and microfiber cloth. I only sanded the seams so it would fit. If you look at the pictures, i definitely could have done better, but this was more about function than looks for me.
