7 Petal Flower Fixture

This is a fixture used to position petals on a flower. 

1. fixture is double stick taped to a lathe faceplate.

2. Petals are double stick taped to the flats on the fixture.

3. A flat is turned, trimming the petals slightly to create a glue surface.

4. A base with a mounting tenon is glued to the flat.

5. Flower is reversed on the lathe.

6. A new flat is turned opposite the base to create a new glue surface without severing the petals.

7. A colorful center is glued to the new center flat.

8. A stem hole is drilled into the base for mounting
