Due to its asymmetrical shape, this model is not designed for perfect long spins like a traditional fidget spinner. However, it can still be a fun little gift for Blender fans and 3D printing enthusiasts.
A fun Blender inspired fidget spinner designed for 3D printing.
I prepared two versions:
AMS version:
I recommend printing this version if you have AMS. It gives the cleanest result with the correct color separation.
Non-AMS version:
If you don’t have AMS, you can print the model in separate parts. I recommend printing the blue base first, then inserting the white parts on top of it, and finally gluing the orange pieces together/in place. This helps the parts stay secure and gives a cleaner final look.
To reduce filament usage, I kept the inner areas orange and only used different colors on the top and bottom visible surfaces.
