The Castle of Friendship from season four of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic.
My daughter wanted this castle for her birthday and I coudn't find a suitable 3d model to print or a true to original toy version (the only version I found was derivative of another toy line and had not even an ounce of resemblance).
I tried my best to model it in Blender (awesome software). It was a bumpy ride, as I am not entirely familiar with the tools and painting was kind of a pain, though the final thing turned out quite interesting. I used primer and spray paint for the body and acrylics for the small details, with a final varnish. Some parts will need sanding or cutting for a proper fit, but nothing major.
The model is flat in the back for two reasons: a) the cartoon just shows the castle from the front, so I didn't want to create non canon architecture; and b) I wanted to hang it in my daughter's wall, so it could be both a toy and have a decorative function.
I apologize for the models polygon count and complexity. I had to remesh some parts in Blender (mainly the sculpted ones) because Blender tended to make non manifold meshes and I didn't know a proper way to fix some errors without incurring in a high polygon count (I was in a hurry in this project, so I made some mistakes in the original files, ergo the need to remesh).
The scale of the models respect the size of the figurines I bought online for my daughter to play. They are easily found.
Anyway, enjoy!
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
