Desk made with 4 identical 3D-printable connectors that were optimized with Matlab for compliance and volume. This is the result of my master's thesis about optimization of 3D-print connectors for furniture. 

The model's shape and volume are the result of a topology optimization that takes into account a maximum compliance of the table for different loads. The prototype is tested to a load of 100 kg and withstands great.

The tabletop isn't attached for the sake of the calculations.
